As an AUCP Parent, you will be deeply involved in your child's education. At AUCP, parents act as classroom assistants (the "cooperative" part of AUCP) on a rotating schedule. Parents also participate in school governance, serving on a variety of committee assignments.
Our parents assume many responsibilities to help make AUCP a wonderful learning environment for children. The first responsibility parents have is to complete registration forms to give AUCP the information it needs for regulatory and administrative purposes. At least one parent must coop in the classroom; every parent who coops must fulfill continuing education requirements to stay in good standing with the school. To help defray the costs of running the school, parents are also asked to participate in fundraising activities.
