AUCP believes that continuing education makes all of us better parents. We continually share educational opportunities with our community. Some good resources for learning about children and parenting, for AUCP parents or any parents, are below.

Parenting Playgroups www.parentingplaygroups.com
- run by Dr. Rene Hackney, offers classes for kids and parents in Alexandria and Falls Church.

Arlington Public Schools Parent Academy click here
-offers free classes for parents of children of all ages, through the public school system. You do not have to have a child enrolled in APS to participate.

Arlington County Department of Human Services click here
 -offers classes and regular informal gatherings for parents to share frustrations and receive support.
