How to Help Support AUCP
Fundraising activities
A dedicated corps of fundraising committee members spearheads a year of fundraising activities for AUCP. The fundraising goals for the year cover both annual operating expenses (e.g., teacher supplies, playground maintenance, technology enhancements, etc.) and long-term investments (e.g., rebuilding our incredible playground in roughly 8-10 years, rainy day funds, etc.)
Across the year, we have many opportunities to support the children of our community, and build for the future. We do not require our members to participate in or raise a minimum amount of money for any given fundraiser, rather we offer a host of opportunities that we hope align with our members' interests and timelines during the school year. Our calendar of fundraising events may change from year to year, but typically includes:

Our largest fundraiser for the year is our annual spring auction. We foster community, competitive spirit while reaping great financial rewards for a great cause, with an evening of donations, dinner, dessert and connection with teachers and members of AUCP every spring. Our auction's great success comes from a host of local businesses who donate to us, and from each of our families, from whom we ask to donate two items of no minimum or maximum value. Items donated by members of our community range from afternoon playdates to grownup playdates in Virginia's wine country to weekends away at vacation homes. We are incredibly grateful for all of the generous contributions from both within and outside of our community!

Support AUCP through shopping
You can help by both purchasing products from the companies below, and by registering AUCP in affiliate programs here you shop. The easiest and most important thing to do is to sign up for the grocery store school programs.

Harris Teeter
You can link your VIC Card to AUCP online (use School Code 5079 for AUCP). You can also stop by any of the in-store customer service desks and ask to have you Harris Teeter VIC Card assigned to Arlington Unitarian Cooperative Preschool. Alternatively, when checking out, provide the cashier with AUCP's number 5079 and they can assign your VIC card to AUCP instantly.
Innisbrook
Innisbrook.com—The school gets up to 50% of your order for gift-wrapping supplies. Be sure to enter AUCP's school number, 116688, when placing your order.
Safeway
Safeway's contribution program is managed by eScrip. To register your Safeway Club Card, visit www.escrip.com and complete the simple 6-step registration process. AUCP's group number is 2145200. We are listed as "Arlington Unitarian Cooperative Prschl".
NOTE: If you were registered last year, you must renew your registration by November 1st for AUCP to continue receiving money from eScrip!
Schoolpop
Sign-up for Schoolpop and up to 40% of your online purchases will be donated to AUCP. With over 250 name brand merchants to chose from including Target, Dell, Lands' End, L.L.Bean, Gap, Expedia, Nordstrom.com, Toys "R" Us, and cooking.com, shopping has never been more rewarding.

Follow the "Join" link, select "Arlington Unitarian Preschool" and fill-in the brief registration form. Make sure it says "Your purchases support Arlington Unitarian Preschool" at the top of the site, if not, go to Find My Organization and search for Arlington Unitarian Preschool or use the school's ID number, 0226427.

There is no cost to you, no enrollment fee, no membership dues, and no minimum spending requirements. Once you register you simply shop online. AUCP automatically gets a percentage (up to 40%!) of every purchase you make in the form of a cash rebate.

The easiest way to help us with fundraising is to simply donate to AUCP. The Arlington Unitarian Cooperative Preschool is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. As such, cash donations made to AUCP are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You can donate to AUCP quickly and easily through PayPal.
