Admission: Tuition and Fees
Application fee:
A $25 non-refundable application fee is required for each application submitted by a family new to AUCP. An application will not be considered until both the application form and the fee are received.
Registration fee, search fees, and tuition deposit (due upon acceptance):
· One-time registration fee (per family, not per child) = $100.
· Central registry search fee for each co-oping parent only = $5.
· Criminal history search fee for each co-oping parent only = $8.
· Deposit of one month's tuition (credited to May of the following school year).
The acceptance letter will indicate the specific due date for the registration fee, background search fee, and tuition deposit. The registration fee, background search fee and the tuition deposit are non-refundable unless otherwise indicated in your official acceptance letter. The search fees are charged by the Commonwealth of Virginia and required by law for all volunteers working with children in the classroom.
Scholarships are available to help qualified families meet tuition expenses.

Infant/Toddler class (Monday Panda) $110
Infant/Toddler class (Tuesday-Friday Panda, per day) $115
2 year-olds 2 day class (Kangaroo or Koala) $175
3 year-olds 3 day class (Penguin) $259
4 year-olds 3 day class (Dolphin or Eagle) $284
Science & Nature class (Monday Cheetah enrichment) $110
Pre-Kindergarten class (Monday Owl enrichment) $122
Pre-Kindergarten class (Wednesday Owl enrichment) $134
For current families, there are no application or registration fees. However, current families must submit a non-refundable tuition deposit with each application. A $50 deposit toward May 2011 tuition is due with each application. Current families will be notified in March about both class placement for next year and the balance of September tuition owed. The remaining balance of May 2011 tuition is due on Friday, April 9, 2010.
